Coming off a 3 game losing streak the Bucks were getting a little desperate for a win. In the second game of Kidd’s reshuffled lineup the Bucks looked significantly more engaged and were able to hand the reeling Denver Nuggets their 7th loss in a row. Led by Monroe with 18 points, Jabari Parker also set a new season high with 16 points. Michael Carter-Williams had a near triple double tallying 12 points 9 assists and 6 rebounds. The Nuggets highest scorer, Danilo Gallinari only had 13 points, which is not too surprising in a game where the Nuggets only scored 74 points.

The Nuggets really struggled offensively shooting 37% from the floor and turning it over 22 times. Rookie point guard Emmanuel Mudiay struggled from the floor finishing 3-11 for 10 points to go with 5 turnovers. It was an all around rough night for the Nuggets who are sorely missing starting small forward Wilson Chandler who is out for the season due to injury.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was more involved in the teams offense with a couple more pick and rolls running through him, but overall he struggled to make the most of his chances finishing 3-10 with 9 points with foul trouble limiting his minutes for most of the first half.

The Bucks were able to continue their trend of good ball movement tallying 35 buckets on 25 assists. The Bucks were able to win this game pretty handily with what might be one of their largest margins of victory all season. This all occurred in a game where they only hit 6 threes and only had two starters break double digits, one of whom did not score after a 10 point first quarter.

Player of the game: Michael Carter-Williams

He looked significantly better than he has all season, after saying in an interview today that he agreed with Kidd that he needed to benched he showed the promise that made him the center piece of the Brandon Knight trade. If he can continue to score efficiently while limiting his turnovers he can definitely resurrect his value across the league.
