Every Monday we will look at which Milwaukee Buck stood out from a game changing performance, or provided consistent production over the previous week. We will do the same for one other player within the central division (Bulls, Pacers, Pistons, Cavaliers).
The Bucks came up just short of an unbeaten week, finishing 3-1 after falling to Chicago this past Sunday. Milwaukee (37-36) is currently in a three-way tie for fifth place in the Eastern conference along with the Atlanta Hawks and the Indiana Pacers.
King of the Court- Giannis Antetokounmpo
Our Greek Freak picks up another King of the Court award, who continues to dominate on both ends of the floor. During the past four games, Giannis posted averages of 27.5 points (52% FG, 72% Ft), 10.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists, one steal, and 1.5 blocks across 37.3 minutes per game. Giannis continues his MVP-caliber season and has put the Bucks back on the map.
King of the Court- Paul George, Indiana Pacers
PG-13 picks up his first divisional King of the Court award this week. George and the rest of the Indiana Pacers are trying to compete with the Bucks for a better playoff spot, and with about 10 games to go in the regular season, we should be in for an entertaining finish. George continues to lead the offensive force for Indiana while contributing on the defensive end as well. George averaged 26 points, 7.5 rebounds, and two steals over 37 minutes per game during the Pacers’ 2-2 week.
