Green Bay Packers Week 11 Injury Report

The Packers face a formidable opponent this week when they travel to Lucas Oil Stadium to face the Indianapolis Colts. Indy ranks in the top four in essentially every single defensive category. The Colts haven’t faced an offense as good as the Packers this year, but their defense will be a huge challenge for the offense. The Colts offense is pretty middle of the road in just about everything, but as we all know, Phillip Rivers has thrown for a ton of yards in matchups with the Packers over the years.

The Packers got some news from Coach Lafluer’s Friday press conference. He said Davante Adams should be good to go after not practicing on Thursday. Three other Packers wide outs will be questionable for Sunday however. Allen Lazard has been limited in practice all week. He has yet to play since being activated off of IR. Darrius Shepherd (shoulder) and Equanimeous St. Brown (knee) are the other to WR’s questionable for Sunday.

The Packers were going to have their starting cornerbacks on the field together for the first time in seemingly forever, but Kevin King popped up on the injury report on Saturday with an Achilles injury. Jaire Alexander has cleared concussion protocol and should be ready for Sunday. Reserve CB Ka’dar Hollman is questionable with a quad injury. Safety Will Redmond has been limited all week with a shoulder injury and is also questionable for Sunday.

Running back Tyler Ervin is out on Sunday with rib/wrist issues. It will be interesting to see who fills in the jet motion role on Sunday. We could see more of Aaron Jones and Jamal Williams on the field together.

This is a great opportunity to quiet the “who have the Packers beaten” crowd. This could be the best defense the Packers will face this year with no disrespect to the Bucs or Bears. This is healthiest the Packers have been in a while and it is coming at the right time.
