Green Bay Packers Week 8 Injury Report

The Packers will go into Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night on a three game winning streak. There are catching a major break this week. The Chiefs will be without six preferred starters including reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes. The Packers seem to be getting healthier themselves, but aren’t quite there yet.

Davante Adams is doubtful for Sunday night. He was able to go through the stretching period of practice this week. He also jogged some routes and caught passes this week. He is getting closer. Tight end Robert Tonyan is also doubtful. He’s still dealing with the hip injury he suffered at Dallas.

Rookie safety Darnell Savage was limitied in practice this week. He hasn’t played since suffering that ankle injury against the Cowboys. He’s questionable this week for the first time. He’s got a shot to play on Sunday night. That’s very important because KC has a lot of speed at the skill positions.

Inside linebacker Blake Martinez was a late addition for the injury report. He was a full participant all week. He is now questionable with a wrist injury. Blake has been pretty durable his whole career and most people inside the organization expect him to play on Sunday night.

Center Corey Linsley is questionable with back injury. He was only able to practice on Friday in a limited capacity. If Linsley is unable to go, look for Lucas Patrick to step in. This Packers offensive line has only given up seven sacks all season. That is a huge reason they off to a 6-1 start.

The Packers will be favorites in this game with all of the Chiefs injuries. It does not matter who is playing quarterback, Arrowhead is still an incredibly difficult place to play. Matt Moore is more than capable to get the ball to all of the weapons that KC has. Andy Reid is a terrific coach that will have his guys ready to go. There is no such thing as an easy game in the NFL.
