Wisconsin Reacts to Last Night’s Draft


It was a busy night Thursday night in the NBA, as 60 players found their new homes in the 30-team league in addition to many trades going down. The Bucks were very straightforward in this year’s draft, drafting Michigan PF DJ Wilson 17th overall and acquiring Philadelphia’s No. 46 pick, SMU’s Sterling Brown. Milwaukee originally held the No. 48 pick and drafted South Carolina’s Sindarius Thornwell with that selection, but ultimately traded his draft rights to the LA Clippers.

Even after the draft was over, the Bucks were not quite done adding pieces to their roster. Just after 1 AM this morning, the Bucks announced they plan to sign Wisconsin guard Bronson Koenig to a two-way deal when July 1st comes around. Local fans couldn’t be more excited:
